Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans un gîte très sympa où les propriétaires sont très bienveillants mais discrets. Le parc du gite est très grand, arboré notamment de fruitiers et d'une "foret de ...bambous" dans laquelle notre petit fils de 2 ans à adoré jouer tout le long de son séjour :-). La région des "Boucles de la Seine" est surprenante par la présence de belles forets malgré la proximité des zones portuaires. N'hésitez pas à venir passer un séjour dans cet hébergement. Read more

Magnifique location au bord de la Seine

Pas grand chose à dire si ce n'est la présence des WC dans la salle de douche. En individuel beaucoup plus pratique surtout pour quatre personnes. Sinon...

Le gite est paefait

l'accueil fut chaleureux aux deux sens du terme: notre hôtesse qui est charmante et la maison qui était chauffée, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas en hiver. Le gite parfait, sa situation excellente: ce ...fut un grand plaisir de voir les gros bateaux passer devant la maison. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer une semaine très agréable, en hiver, ce doit être encore plus beau pendant la belle saison. En conclusion nous fumes très contents de notre séjour. Read more

Heureux séjour

Après 3 semaines passées dans ce beau gîte cet été, nous y sommes revenues en septembre, toujours enchantées de retrouver ce lieu, la Seine, le calme, les promenades, la beauté de la maison de pierres, ...son confort...Sans oublier, les corbeilles de noix et noisettes de la propriété qui nous attendaient avec une bouteille de cidre. Overall enjoyable stay

We had an overall lovely stay. The gite is a charming ground floor flat in an old part converted stone barn, on an amazing plot with a beautiful garden, surrounded by fields, along the banks of the river ...Seine. The sight of passing freight ships was stunning. The location was good for us, away from the hustle and bustle of cities yet in close proximity to the beautiful Rouen. Not the closest to beaches though, at over an hour's drive to the nearest one. Plenty of hiking and walking opportunities and the gite's terrace had dual aspect, sunny and shaded, to suit preferences and times of the day. We were surprised that, as is traditional in gites in France and indeed in the UK, there were no welcome treats such as a bottle of wine or cider, and not even a bottle of milk in the fridge, or even handwash in the bathroom! We had to ask for the latter, and were asked if we needed milk. But customs would suggest that these simple items would be available. The reason given was because of Covid, but that was unconvincing because all the boardgames, brochures and magazines, even the old stained dish sponges, were left in place. There was however, by means of local produce, a few courgettes and tomatoes from the owners' allotment. These little touches do matter and enhance one's stay. Other niggly matters were the very old bedsheets and towels, that seem to have seen their best quite a while ago. The shower curtain was in part mouldy at its bottom, and the kitchen could do with an upgrade. It just felt that the gite was equipped with the owners' old and unwanted furnishing, except for the washing machine and dryer that were in excellent condition. Annie Blanche is a delightful host, it's important to emphasize, kind and considerate. She was generous with her time when we had an enjoyable conversation and it was fascinating listening to her about the site's history. Although this is not a modern equipped and furnished accommodation, we still enjoyed our stay. Read more

Très bon séjour dans une belle maison

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la maison, le calme, les balades le long de la Seine, sur le chemin de halage ou sur la petite route ombragée. Le grand parc est beau aussi. De la baie vitrée et de la terrasse ...sur le côté, on voit passer les bateaux. Lieu de charme, de confort, où nous allons revenir passer 10 jours en septembre... Read more

Le gîte est situé dans un environnement campagnard de toute beauté et très tranquille. Tout le nécessaire s'y trouve pour un séjour simple et paisible. Les propriétaires sont discrets et aimables. Séjour agréable et ensoleillé

Gîte lumineux, très bien aménagé et vraiment très bien équipé que ce soit pour le gros électroménager ou les ustensiles de cuisine (jusqu'au pèse-aliments). Nous avons pu voir des faisans, des moutons, ...des poneys, des chèvres, des vaches et surtout la superbe poule "Tata Odette". Nous avons fait de belles balades à pied le long de la Seine. Bel environnement sauf Canteleu. Un avis vraiment très personnel et qui ne remet pas en cause la qualité du gîte : il manquerait juste un voilage (que l'on pourrait laisser ouvert ou pas) sur la grande baie vitrée pour un peu d'intimité. Assez étonnant pour un gîte de France, pas de petite attention à l'arrivée. Nous garderons un bon souvenir de notre passage en Seine-Maritime. Nous souhaitons bonne continuation aux propriétaires.
