Fantastic accommodation

We had a fantastic time staying here. We were welcomed warmly by the owner, who has equipped the gîte to a high standard. Our children were very welcome too, and we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. ...The bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen and living areas are cosy and well furnished. The courtyard was a particular bonus, as the weather was very hot when we stayed, and this provided us with a cool space to relax. The quirky way that this gîte is decorated is charming, and it was lovely that some of the sculptures were created by the owner himself. It is very easy to access Rouen by bus, which stops just outside the gîte, and there is a delicious boulangerie a few metres away. Amfreville-la-Mi-Voie also has a well stocked Spar for groceries. The owner of the gîte gave us excellent recommendations for activities in the area, that were particularly well suited to our children, and we had a superb holiday overall. Séjour de 3 nuits mais très bon séjour. Nous recommandons vraiment. Nous avons suivi les conseils du propriétaire pour garder l'appartement frais malgré la chaleur à l'extérieur et ceux ci ont portés leurs ...fruits: appartement frais. We had a lovely stay and the owner was very welcoming. The apartment is indeed decorated with a lot of taste and is unconventionally charming. At the same time, our family of five fit perfectly. Location ...is great, very near from the city center and you can find free parking on the street pretty easily. There is a bakery next door and a deli at walking distance. Un havre de paix proche d'une grande agglomération

Séjour très reposant après des mois de labeur. La qualité, le cachet du gîte nous a fait oublier notre quotidien. Beautifully decorated gîte, full of interesting objects and furniture, and very thoughtfully designed. Relaxing atmosphere, with lots of imaginative touches. Very convenient for the centre of Rouen (fast ...bus service very close) but also for visiting a range of sites along the Seine. Adepte des gîtes de France à la campagne, c’est la première fois que je vais dans un cité break. Bien sûr, l’appartement est en ville, dans une petite commune jouxtant Rouen. Mais les chambres donnent ...côté cour et sont au calme et le patio permet de profiter d’un espace extérieur. Le gîte est bien aménagé, proche de commerces, de Rouen et l’on peut facilement rayonner vers les boucles de la Seine ou la côte d’albâtre. Séjour agréable au calme avec nos 2 chats

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte. Nous l'avions choisi notamment pour le patio pour que nos 2 chats puissent sortir sans inquiétude. C'était effectivement le cas, les murs sont très hauts. ...Nos chats ont pu sortir et rester dans le patio librement. Le logement est spacieux, fonctionnel et lumineux; le tout au calme. M. Mazet l'a décoré avec attention et quelques unes de ses créations. Il y a une boulangerie avec de bons produits (optez pour la croquise) à 2 minutes à pied. Il y a également un arrêt de bus au pied du logement, permettant de se rendre dans le centre de Rouen en moins de 20 minutes. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par M. Mazet, qui est disponible en cas de besoin. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Read more
